Mr. Gibaldi’s practice focuses on criminal defense, regulatory enforcement, and complex commercial litigation.
Mr. Gibaldi graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and French Studies. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. During law school, Mr. Gibaldi served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard International Law Journal and completed clinical placements with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston and the Harvard Human Rights Clinic.
After graduating from Harvard Law School, Mr. Gibaldi clerked for the Hon. Joseph F. Bianco on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Hon. Fernande R.V. Duffly on the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.
Prior to joining Sher Tremonte LLP, Mr. Gibaldi worked as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he represented financial institutions in white collar regulatory and criminal defense matters and also represented an indigent individual pro bono in Manhattan Criminal Court. He also worked as a volunteer Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Gibaldi is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
