Tasha R. Branford practice focuses on commercial litigation, internal investigations and white collar regulatory and criminal defense.
Ms. Branford began her legal career as an associate at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP, where she represented individual and corporate clients in white collar criminal defense and securities litigation matters in the financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and technology industries. Ms. Branford also devoted significant time to pro bono work and she successfully represented several clients on their applications for asylum. Ms. Branford was also previously associated with Venable LLP in Los Angeles, where she worked on a variety of commercial litigation matters with a focus on entertainment.
Ms. Branford received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Hunter College, where she double majored in political science and religion and minored in psychology. At Hunter, Ms. Branford was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was a recipient of the Marion E. Altenderfer Scholarship for Graduate Study.
Ms. Branford is admitted to practice in New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
