Anna Estevao’s practice focuses on criminal defense and commercial litigation. She devotes significant time to the firm’s pro bono work.
Ms. Estevao graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern scholar, served as an editor of the New York University Law Review, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She received her bachelor’s degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, with distinction in the Anthropology major.
Prior to joining Sher Tremonte, Ms. Estevao was a trial attorney at the Federal Defenders of San Diego, where she represented indigent criminal defendants in federal court.
Ms. Estevao clerked for the Honorable Denny Chin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and for the Honorable Vernon S. Broderick of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
