Elizabeth Jánszky’s practice focuses on criminal defense and commercial litigation. She devotes significant time to pro bono work and the representation of indigent clients.
Ms. Jánszky graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was a Furman Academic scholar, served as an editor of the New York University Law Review, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She holds a Masters of Political Science from Columbia University and graduated magna cum laude from Emory University with a degree in political science.
Ms. Jánszky clerked for the Honorable Raymond J. Lohier of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit during the 2019-2020 terms and will be clerking for the Honorable J. Paul Oetken of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York during the 2021 term.
Ms. Jánszky is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
