Joanna Riesman is an experienced advisor and litigator. After graduating from New York University School of Law, where she was named a member of the Order of the Coif, Ms. Riesman served as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York for Magistrate Judge Michael H. Dolinger. Following her clerkship, Ms. Riesman worked as a litigation associate at Beldock, Levine and Hoffman LLP, a leading New York City boutique litigation firm. Subsequently, Ms. Riesman served as counsel to the Times Square Business Improvement District, where she worked on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters. At Sher Tremonte, Ms. Riesman’s practice focuses on the representation of individuals and companies in complex civil proceedings in state and federal court.
Prior to law school, Ms. Riesman graduated with a degree in Art History from Yale University. She currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the Hastings-on-Hudson Public Library.
Ms. Riesman is admitted to practice in the courts of New York State and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
