Bob Knuts Joins Sher Tremonte

Sher Tremonte is pleased to announce that Robert Knuts has joined the firm as a partner. Bob previously served as Assistant Regional Director and Senior Trial Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement in New York, where he directed investigations and tried cases concerning accounting fraud, insider trading, market manipulation and Investment Company/Investment Adviser Act violations. Since returning to private practice in 2003, Bob has represented companies and private clients in internal investigations and investigations by the Department of Justice, the SEC, FINRA and state regulatory authorities. In arbitrations and civil actions, Bob has litigated matters involving investment partnerships, complex financial products and claims of breach of contract, fraud and breach fiduciary duty.
