Fiona Cleaves is a paralegal at Sher Tremonte, where she supports the firm’s attorneys in complex litigation matters.
Fiona graduated from Georgetown University in May 2026 with an A.B. in Government, with a concentration in International Relations, and in French and Francophone Studies. She is fluent in Spanish and French.
Prior to joining the firm, Fiona gained experience in government and public service through a series of competitive internships. She most recently completed three consecutive internships on Capitol Hill, serving in the offices of Congressman Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA-10), Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA), and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-NY). Earlier in her academic career, Fiona interned for three summers in the Political Section of the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain, where she developed a strong foundation in international affairs and diplomatic operations.
