Ben’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration as well as civil and criminal government enforcement matters.  Ben is a passionate advocate, seeking creative and thoughtful solutions for his clients’ most challenging disputes.

Prior to joining Sher Tremonte, Ben served as a law clerk to the Honorable Evelyn Padin of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.  He also worked as a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation and arbitration, state attorney general civil enforcement actions and investigations, and restructuring litigation.  Ben has devoted a substantial amount of time to pro bono matters on behalf of non-profit organizations and indigent criminal defendants.

As a student at New York University School of Law, Ben was the Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Journal of Law & Business, a Research and Teaching Assistant for Professor Geoffrey Miller, a Student Fellow in the Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement, and a Student Investigator in the Police Investigation Partnership Project.
