Brachah is an experienced, tenacious trial attorney, litigating high-stakes cases in federal and state court and achieving favorable outcomes for her clients. Her practice focuses on criminal defense and complex commercial litigation.
A fierce advocate, Brachah counsels her clients with compassion and judiciousness as they navigate challenging circumstances. When handling any case, she offers strong strategic thinking and sensitivity. Brachah is skilled at persuasively presenting complex cases to juries and convincing judges through meticulous, thoroughly-researched arguments.
Prior to joining Sher Tremonte, Brachah served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Dora L. Irizarry in the Eastern District of New York and as a Senior Counsel at the New York City Law Department, where she litigated exclusively in federal court. At the Law Department, Brachah handled some of the City’s toughest cases. Among her accomplishments, Brachah conducted fourteen federal jury trials, successfully obtaining eleven full defense verdicts. Her recognitions include the Municipal Affairs Award from the New York City Bar Association for outstanding achievement.
Brachah is actively involved in the legal community. Currently, she co-chairs the First Decade Committee of the Federal Bar Council and is a member of the Inn of Court. She has taught Continuing Legal Education programs on a variety of topics to lawyers at all levels. Brachah has trained junior attorneys in trial advocacy programs, in addition to teaching deposition and motion writing skills.
