Eleuthera litigates complex constitutional issues in civil and criminal cases.
Prior to joining Sher Tremonte, Eleuthera served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michelle T. Friedland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Dale E. Ho of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also worked as a Constitutional Law Fellow at Everytown for Gun Safety, where she litigated Second Amendment cases on behalf of state and local governments and wrote numerous amicus briefs on novel questions of constitutional interpretation.
Eleuthera was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review at NYU School of Law, where she was also a Furman Public Policy Scholar and Vanderbilt Scholar, a teaching assistant for Dean Trevor Morrison and Professor Barry Adler, and a research assistant for Professor Nancy Morawetz. She participated in NYU’s Immigrant Rights Clinic, where she represented asylum-seeking clients in the Second Circuit and organized a congressional briefing on First Amendment retaliation against noncitizen activists by federal immigration authorities. She also completed internships at the Federal Defenders of New York and the Center for Appellate Litigation. Upon graduation, Eleuthera received the George P. Foulk Memorial Award for distinguished scholarship and exceptional leadership during her time at NYU Law.
Prior to law school, Eleuthera completed a Master in Public Affairs at Princeton University and worked in global reproductive health.
