Josie West is a paralegal at Sher Tremonte, where she supports the firm’s attorneys in complex litigation matters.
Josie graduated from Wesleyan University in 2026, earning a B.A. with High Honors in the College of Science & Technology Studies and Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and studied Spanish.
Prior to joining the firm, Josie gained experience across public service and advocacy settings. She served as a teaching assistant with Wesleyan’s Center for Prison Education and interned with the Family Defense Practice at The Bronx Defenders, where she supported representation of parents in child welfare proceedings. She also worked as a congressional intern for a New York congresswoman representing parts of Queens, gaining exposure to legislative processes and constituent services.
