Katie’s practice focuses on criminal defense and complex commercial litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Katie was an associate at Selendy & Gay PLLC, where she represented corporate clients on both the plaintiff and defense side of litigations in state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels. She also worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, representing corporate clients in a range of domestic and international litigation and arbitration matters as well as internal investigations.

Katie has devoted a significant amount of time to pro bono matters, particularly those involving voting rights and criminal defense. She co-authored an amicus brief filed in the U.S. Supreme Court concerning the constitutionality of Delaware’s system of requiring partisan balance on the state’s courts. As a student attorney at Harvard Law School, she successfully tried a case under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. During her time at Brown University, she led creative arts workshops in the Rhode Island women’s state prison.
