Wesley’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and criminal defense matters.
Before joining Sher Tremonte, Wes was a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he represented U.S. and international corporate clients in civil matters as well as bankruptcy actions, internal investigations, and arbitrations. He also devoted significant time to pro bono matters, including a class action challenging the NYPD’s use of sealed arrest information and the representation of a criminal defendant serving life without parole for a crime committed as a juvenile.
During law school, Wes interned for the New York Civil Liberties Union, representing juvenile detainees subjected to solitary confinement in Syracuse, New York. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Victor Marrero in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Honorable Pamela Chen in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
